Finding the right caregiver starts with the job post you share. A clear, detailed job description helps you attract candidates who genuinely match your family’s needs and filters out people who don’t.
Start With the Essentials
Begin with a brief overview that answers: Who needs care, and what kind of help is required? In 2–3 sentences, describe:
- The person’s age and general condition (for example, “mobile but needs supervision,” “living with moderate dementia,” “recovering from surgery”).
- The setting: private home, assisted living, or other.

Then list the schedule details:
